（１） 演出の美しさは圧巻の魅力！
The beauty of the production is the masterpiece!
ノートルダム聖堂の鐘にある屋根裏に住んでいるカジモド。
The story of Kajimodo, who lives in the attic of the Notre Dame Cathedral.
聖堂のセットの美しさ、ミサ曲から始まる演出、石像（ガーゴイル）たちが通行人に変わったり、物語のナレーション的役割をしたり、人や大道具などの演出のもっていきかたもおしゃれだと思う。
The beauty of the set of the cathedral, the production that begins with the Mass song, the stone statues,gargoyles,becoming pedestrians and playing the role of narration in the story is interesting, and how to use actors and props is also fashionable.
『誰が醜いのか』という問いかけをした男が目の前で顔に汚れを描き、背中のこぶを背負いカジモドに変身する演出は最高ですね。

①話の違い
映画版：カジモドはふられるが、エスメラルダはフィーバスと結ばれハッピーエンドで終わる。
Movie version：Kasimodo is mentioned,but Esmeralda becomes a alover with Phoebuse and ends up with a happy ending
ミュージカル版：エスメラルダが死んでしまうが、最後は死んだエスメラルダとカジモドは一緒に過ごすことができ、ある種ハッピーエンドともとれる終わりになる
Musical version:Esmeralda dies, but in the end Esmeralda and Kasimodo can spend time together It will be a happy ending.
②音楽の違い
Movie:カジモドの恋を応援する歌とかキャッチ―な歌もある。
Catchy songs that support Kajimod's love.
Musical：ミサを連想させるような幻想的なアンサンブルが重ねられたゴシック調の歌が多い。
Gothic songs with a fantastic ensemble makes us remember Mass.
③主題の違い
Movie:外に憧れるカジモドが外に出られるようになるまでの話にフューチャー
I think it is featured the story until Kajimado is allowed to go outside.
Muscial:ミュージカルは『何が醜さか』という主題の元、ミサのような音楽でキリスト教的な考え方を表現している作品のように感じる。
The musical is based on the theme of "what is ugly" with music like Mass.
It feels like a work that expresses a Christian way of thinking.
（３）『何が醜さか』という主題。
The subject "what is ugly".
最初この物語の主題を話の流れから私は見つけられなかった。
At first I didn't really understand the meaning of the theme of this story and I could not find a clue to the answer from the story
しかし、最後になると役者が『あなたの心に何が醜さか、心に残るものがあればうれしい』的なことを言っていて、“どうやら物語を見ればその問いかけや答えを見れるようになっているらしい”と推察した。
But at the end the actor said, "I'm happy if you have something memorable,what is ugly"
It seems that "if you look at the story, you can find the questions and answers".
そんな思いで、もう一回見直してみると、この作品はキリスト教の思想をとしてみると主題が色濃く感じられると感じた。
So, I tried to review it once more and felt that the theme comes from the thought of Christianity.
この物語の中で一貫して行われているのはエスメラルダの平和を願う“祈り”だ。
What is consistently expessed in this story is Esmeralda's pray.
キリスト教は『世界は善と悪に満ちている』と考えてて、“救い”が必要だと強く思っている。だからこそ、物語の中では人の残虐さもしっかり描き出す。
その中での美しさ（平和を祈る心)が大切なのであろう。
Christianity strongly believes that the world is full of goodness and evil and everyone needs "salvation."
That's why, in the story, it also portray the cruelty of people.
So the most important thing is praying in that situation.
”本当の”『祈り』とは残酷で救いようがない時にされるものと聞いたことがある。
絶望の中で恨んで終わるか、最後に残された人間としてまっとうに生きる手段『祈る』を選ぶか。
I've heard that "real" pray is in cruel and unhelpful situation.
