I went to Mori Art Museum's "Future and Art Exhibition".
The subtitle was "AI, Robots, Cities, and Life: How do Human Live Tomorrow?"

🌏Introduction of the exhibition

That main theme is "Singularity”.
The mean is that AI transcends human intelligence and brings rapid changes to people's lives.
For example, new technologies will create new social systems and values, and have a significant impact on people’s food, medicine, and the environment.
If we look these exhibition's examples of art, design, and architecture cutting-edge technologies such as AI, biotechnology, robotics, and AR (augmented reality),they will make us feature environmental issues(animals and plants) and think again about human-centered worldviews.
This exhibition encourages us to think about society and getting a new world view.

I have three interesting things about this exhibition.

The first is to try to visualize philosophical issues that arise with evolution by using architecture, actual AI, and art. For example, Agi Haynes "Transformation" series.

One is displayed a model of a baby who underwent surgery they can resistance to harsh environments at the same time as birth. This photo is a model of a baby with her cheeks stretched out. It allows her to quickly and effectively absorb caffeine when she gets a stressful job. Another model was to create an artificial mouth on the back of the head. It makes children who need effective treatment impossible to administer the medicine from the third mouth. I felt that excessive evolution make confront us with ethical issues.

Second interesting thing is I got the question “The question is whether these evolutions are necessary or not.”
For example, there are Parisian activities to live in greenup buildings to prevent global warming, and Singapore architecture was actually living now!

To be honest, I thought “It was like ruins, not thinking that it was nice art. And we have other ways to increase green. Why we think it is only agent?”

And in the other side , is it really necessary to turn food and work into AI?
A sushi restaurant that can be customized and easily provided by protein binding makes us eat easily and might lays food loss to rest.

However, is it ok? We enjoy a meal with the five senses (touch and smell…).We don’t need them? And I think the lost makes lose our story of the food culture that accompanies it? And more,if an AI Taxi Driver develops ,where will a human taxi driver work? How many people will lose their job? I've heard that 60 percent of people lose their jobs when AI is able to work. How do people solve the problems? Is evolving for simplification necessary to take that risk?

But I agree the third interesting thing about this exhibition.
It is that Evolution makes Degradation, and good luck can happen. When I was looking at a work making house with shellfish materials for environmental preservation, I suddenly remembered a work that used cypress to recreate the ruined Edo.

If we choice cypress and Edo architecture as a better material for environmental preservation and the streets of Edo are restored, we return to the tradition of the Edo period? I believe traditional performing arts created by Japanese nature, so the culture that declines in the process of evolution may resume.
When I think about it, I remember someone telling me “People's bodies and minds can't keep up with the evolution of civilization ( technology)”. People can't evolve as fast as technology. If technology evolved, did the Healing ability and IQ of human evolve? It hasn't changed. The reason we have abandoned various cultures in this much evolution is our minds can't keep up with evolution, can it? When I thought about it, I thought that leaning toward technology without waiting for the development of man's mind isn’t good. What is important for us is not to evolve, but to what kind of thoughts we will put into it. In order to do that, we need to wait human evolution before technology. The exhibition made me think about such a thing.

It was an opportunity to think specifically about the visualization of the risks of evolution, the question of whether evolution is necessary, the benefits and degeneration caused by evolution, and the necessity of waiting for the evolution of human mind and body to maintain its balance.

Finally, this exhibition was a good learning experience for me, but at the same time, when I wanted to re-understand society from an unselfish perspective from the viewpoint of the environment and animals, I felt again the need to study English in order to obtain more advanced, high-quality information.
